Most yoga retreats go hand in hand with clean eating, green juices and detox diets. We believe that the key to a happy life is balance, which is why we have decided to combine Yoga and Wine during this 7-night retreat in Tuscany. As much as we love a healthy diet and exercise routine, allowing ourselves to slow down and unwind with a wine in hand can be as stress-reducing as a good yoga class. All in moderation of course. Don’t think we’ll be handing out Chianti wine during our yoga sessions. Na-ah. You can pamper your taste buds with heavenly foods and Italian wines when our down-dogs are done.

Our Tuscan yoga and wine retreat (or should we say vino and vinyasa!) is guaranteed to soothe your senses. Breakfast, lunch and dinner (incl. wine – say what!?) is included in your package. All meals are organic, nutritious and delicious, and ingredients come from the venue’s vegetable gardens. Talk about farm to table! We’ve tasted some incredible Italian dishes during our stay (artichoke salad, traditional pasta pesto) accompanied by silky wine from the local Chianti region.

Wine Tasting

We’ve organised a winery tour to a nearby abbey, where you get to enjoy a wine tasting (obviously) including a tasting platter with products from the local area. There will also be a casual wine tasting afternoon at the retreat venue, no doubt followed by pool side relaxation!

Let us reassure you that there will be no rude awakenings at 6AM for your first yoga class. We’re pretty relaxed, and so is our schedule during this yoga and wine retreat. Morning yoga takes place between 8AM and 10AM followed by al-fresco breakfast. If your body is telling you to sleep in that day, that’s perfectly fine! We’re not keeping count and it certainly ain’t a competition. To ease you into the retreat (and help with a possible jetlag), we’ve scheduled rejuvenating massages and pool time relaxation on the 2nd day of the retreat. The yoga deck is always available if you feel the need to practice in private, or simply chill in the hammock with a good book.

Our goal is to connect you with like-minded people by whisking you away to stunning destinations where you can unwind and share memorable experiences together. That’s the essence of our yoga and wine retreats. We encourage you to minimise usage of your phone and other digital devices. Travelling enriches the soul and we want you to fully embrace this retreat experience. Meet new people, make new friends, and connect the way we’re meant to: in real life. The wine will certainly help with flowing conversations! Maraviglia’s lush surroundings make it easy to forget about your to-do lists back home. This is the time to recharge your batteries and head back home refreshed and reconnected.

Yes, Tuscany really is that stunning. The rolling hills of the Italian countryside combined with beautiful villages make this region ideal for scenic drives and wine tastings with a view (and of course, a yoga and wine retreat!). Our winery tour, nature walk and thermal baths excursions will allow you to embrace the beauty of Tuscany. If you have the time (and money) we highly recommend tagging on a few days before or after your retreat. Florence and Siena are both places well worth a visit and so are Pienza and San Gimignano.

Tickets for this Yoga and Wine retreat in Tuscany start from €1695,-
